91ԭs tuition is less than half the national average for private colleges and universities, but we lower our sticker price even more by providing a variety of scholarships to on-campus undergraduate students at both our Tennessee and Florida campuses. Students can qualify for merit-based scholarships and scholarships based on their major, as well as need-based aid. Combine these institutional scholarships with federal and state financial aid and watch your cost to attend 91ԭ go even lower!

Merit-Based

Several of our scholarships reward academic achievement. Our Presidents Scholarship is based on the students highest ACT or SAT score and their final cumulative GPA from high school. Students can receive as much as $8,000 per school year!

We also offer scholarships for competing at preaching/public speaking competitions, for excelling in National Bible Bowl, and for representing 91ԭ as a summer Recruitment Team member.

Program-Based

Many of our degree programs offer annual scholarships for students pursuing that major. From Psychology to Intercultural Studies to Business Administration and Teacher Education, students can apply for program scholarships each year at 91ԭ.

Service and Diversity

91ԭ offers scholarships for students whose parents serve as international missionaries or in local church ministry. 91ԭ also offers scholarships for international students, students who are first-generation (the first in their family to attend college), and students of color.

Need-Based

The 91ԭ Gap Scholarship awards additional funds each year to help fill the gap between institutional aid and federal and state aid.

State Aid Opportunities

Both Tennessee and Florida offer a variety of scholarships, grants, and awards for prospective students. In Tennessee, one of the most significant scholarships is the , which provides money for four years for eligible students, and the , an annual award for financially needy students. Tennessee residents can also take advantage of the , which offers significant financial help for you to complete a two-year associate degree at 91ԭ! We offer more than a dozen associate degrees, and we have pathways to make it easy for you to turn each one into a four-year bachelors degree at JU.

In Florida, the (Effective Access to Student Education Program) helps full-time undergraduate students who have been a resident of Florida for at least one year and are pursuing a bachelors degree. The is offered to high school students based on their academic achievement, and the Florida Student Assistance Grant is for students with higher financial need.

Scholarships for Graduate School

91ԭ even offers a few grad school scholarships! The School of Intercultural Studies offers an award to full-time students enrolled in the Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies program, and the Ph.D. in Leadership Studies Scholarship is designed for Ph.D. students who are not residents of the United States.

For on-ground students, the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences offers program scholarships for the Master of Arts in Counseling as well as a Graduate Assistantship opportunity. In the Templar School of Education, students in the Master of Arts in Holistic Education can receive as much as $2,000 per year toward their masters degree.
